THANK Forum for Disabled Writers

You are invited to join the THANK panel of thought leaders exploring the practice of emerging and established Deaf and disabled writers. Panel participants will discuss some of the elements important to disabled writers in building and sustaining a writing career. We hope also to encourage discussion on disabled leadership, peer support, critical feedback and the creation of opportunities for our voices to be heard.

About the panel of writers
- Gaele Sobott, a writer who has published a range of acclaimed works, founder of Outlandish Arts
- Carly Findlay, blogger, writer, speaker and appearance activist Carly challenges people’s thinking
- Gayle Kennedy, a proud member of the Wongaibon Clan of the Ngiyaampaa speaking nation of South West NSW, Gayle is an award-winning writer
- Kate Larsen, an Adelaide-based writer, arts manager and non-profit/cultural consultant, disability advocate and ally
